Tools
Your files are read by code running in your own browser. They are never sent to us or anyone else.
- Client work, money and planning, people and office tools (Management Accounts Analyser, Duplicate and Anomaly Finder, Client Messages, Records Request, Document Branding, Cash Flow Forecast, Budget vs Actual, Profit What-If, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Late Payment Interest, Staff Cost Calculator, Training Matrix, One-to-One and Appraisal, Out-of-Office Builder, Phone Message Pad). These pages carry a security policy that stops them making network requests, so they could not upload your files even by mistake. Nothing is saved in your browser: your data is wiped after you download or copy the result, when you press Clear all, and when you leave the page. Most of the planning and people tools can save your work to a file on your computer and open it again. Those files stay with you.
- Practice tracker tools (Tracker Reports, Weekly Team Summary). Your tracker spreadsheets are read in the page and never changed or uploaded. Nothing is kept once you leave the page.
- Document tools (File Renamer, PDF Splitter, Pages to PDF Converter). Files are renamed, split or converted in the page and handed back to you as downloads. Nothing is uploaded or kept.
- Fee Quote Calculator. If you edit the price list, your prices are saved in this browser so they are there next time. Reset to example prices deletes them. Client details you type are not saved.
Marketing tools
Tax-Year Newsletter, QR Code Maker, Business Card and Flyer Maker, and Content Calendar. Everything you type, and any logo or photo you add, is handled in your browser. These pages carry a security policy that stops them making network requests, so nothing can be uploaded.
Your brand details (business name, contact details, colours and logo) and your content calendar are kept in this tab's session storage, so a refresh doesn't lose them. They are deleted when you close the tab, or sooner if you press Clear. You can save either to a file on your computer.

Both are needed for the feature you chose to use, so no consent banner is required. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. The home page also loads its spreadsheet and PDF code from Cloudflare's cdnjs library service.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Your browser fetches them from Google, which sees your IP address when it does.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. ClerkWork holds no personal data about you beyond the request details Cloudflare processes to serve the site. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
